Five Minute Friday: Again

5 min Friday

GO

I can’t count the nights I walked into the house after work and ate dinner alone.

I can’t count the days I woke up in my apartment and ate breakfast in silence.

I can’t count the moments of excitement and joy that I shared with no one.

I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to experience something, with someone.

I can’t relay to you the number of solitary beats my heart made.

But it doesn’t matter now. None of it matters.

Because now you are deep in my heart, my soul, my fiber, my being.

Because never again will I be without you.

STOP

He there. Just popping in to say “hi.” I saw your pink button linky and had to see what you’re up to. Nope, never alone, although at times I would love to be alone (homeschool mom rant) … but never lonely. Hope you’re doing good. You’ve sure been a busy lady! Your site looks totally different!

This was wonderful. Sometimes we do forget how lonely it would be without all the activity and noise. A couple of days yes, but day after day, I would miss it.
