Ah, Valentine’s Day!

In my single days I would wear black, on this most red and pink of holidays, eat a pint of Ben & Jerry’s and watch a movie in my dark apartment .  But alas, the Lord heard my prayer and now I celebrate with the best of ‘em.  What a difference love makes!

What a difference kids make too!

Dinner out is a little more challenging when you start adding up the cost of a nice meal and a babysitter.  And especially when you lay those costs down next to your need for new tires, a new dryer, braces and/or upcoming birthdays.  Whew!  A night in with a pizza and a Redbox movie starts sounding pretty good.
